Fairly good hostel, for the price of it it’s very good. The staff were nice, the breakfast wasn’t great but what do you expect, it filled you up and if you’re trying to travel cheap then it’s fine. Beds are reasonably comfortable and it’s pretty clean, the only issue was the showers were sometimes cold, but that’s no biggie

I stayed here for 2 nights in February 2018 as a solo traveller. The girl at reception who checked me in was lovely, showed me to the room and gave me lots of information about it and the local area.

As you walk into the hostel though, I thought I'd made a mistake staying there because of the courtyard and stairway up to the hostel smelling really bad - but the actual hostel itself is fine. Once you open the door you can't smell it anymore so it's not a problem. I stayed in the 9-bed dorm, which was quite small but everyone had their own locker and plug socket to charge their phone so no issues.

Breakfast is included in the price so can't complain, cereal, toast, tea, coffee, orange juice - basic but what you expect in a hostel. The atmosphere is really sociable and on my second night, everyone sat around watching the football.

Don't expect much for the price you pay and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

There’re only 2 bathrooms/toilets for all of the guests so it can be inconvenient. Hot water runs out and taking a cold shower in the winter can be torturing.

We stayed in the 9-bed room and it had 3 3-level bunk beds. There were lockers to keep our valuables as well. The location is good, 5-minute walk from the town square, but far from the Jewish quarter. There is free breakfast (yay!) with cornflakes, bread, jam and coffee.

Don't be put off by the smell of the courtyard, once you get into the hostel you can't smell it. Don't expect much for the price and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Great hostel for the value, the building seems a bit run down, but the inside is good, with each bed with its own power outlet. Walking distance (about 15 min walk) to bus/train station and close to city centre as well. Staff is also really nice.

It was quite quiet and dark in the main social area (but I was there in the morning) I heard they played a basketball game on an overhead projector. That's really cool.
Not really that much wrong with it :)

The place is cool and quiet and there is plenty of space in the common room.
The staff were also nice and there was free breakfast. It's also one of the cheapest hostels I've ever stayed in.
Amazing location, too.

Great value for the money and very close to the underground station (even though there wasn't a lot to do directly around the hostel) only complaints were that the bathrooms on the first floor were broken during my stay so we had to go upstairs, and that a patron from the bar who wasn't a guest at the hostel had a key to store bags in the dorm room while he was at the pub. Felt weird that non-guests had access to the room at all. Other than that, really enjoyed my stay and would chose again!

The doors are locked and unlocked with a key, meaning that you need to trust others will also lock the door to your room. The breakfast is stale white bread, jam and cornflakes, but it is supplied. After 11pm no one is aloud to talk in the hostel. The staff members were really nice, and the beds are comfy. There is a TV and comfy couches in the common area and the kitchen is pretty well equipped. For the price I paid it was very worth it! The location is really close to the cite centre.

Very cheap hostel, but with all the extras and in a great location. The front desk staff are very polite and helpful, and after check out the luggage is allowed. A large living room allows for sharing with other travelers. I would recommend.

After reading the reviews of this hostel I am astounded some people have anything to moan about. It's £6 a night - what do you expect!!! If you want 5* hotel service then book a hotel- but if you want a very cheap convenient and perfectly fine hostel then this is the place for you! We could not recommend this hostel anymore!! The location is absolutely fantastic, very central to main attractions with a train station nearby. It has to be said that it's in a slightly strange place and tucked away but perfectly fine once you find it. This is also the first hostel I have ever encountered where breakfast is included in the already very cheap price. Unlimited tea and coffee is also available all throughout the day. The kitchen is slightly small but perfectly fine and we cooked a lovely meal in it. Also has a nice lounge area with comfy sofas and very friendly staff. Can also do washing here for 5 Zloty (just over £1) including powder and ours came out perfectly fine! Most importantly the wifi was amazing and was strong enough for clash royals- 10/10. Never encountered triple bunk beds before but they proved not to be a problem, also got free use of lockers in the room which is always a bonus. There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers per gender which is a bit limiting however this didn't prove to be a major problem.
This was the cheapest hostel we found and one of the best we have ever stayed in - would highly recommend , particularly if you want value for money!
